This edition keeps the familiar alternating X and O turns, then expands the idea with four board sizes and matching win lengths. A quick 3 × 3 round teaches the rules; larger boards reward longer plans.
Select an empty cell to place X. The computer answers with O. Complete the required number of marks in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line before the AI does. A full board without a winning line ends in a draw.
Easy creates a relaxed first match, Medium blocks immediate threats more consistently, and Hard looks for stronger tactical replies. Larger boards also require longer lines, giving both players more room to create forks and disguised threats.
On 3 × 3, control the center and watch for moves that create two winning lines at once. On larger grids, do not chase a single line too early. Build connected groups while checking every row, column and diagonal the opponent can extend.
