Hide a fleet. Read every shot.

Battleship is a turn-based search game on two ten-by-ten grids. Place ten ships without overlap, then locate the rival fleet by combining misses, hits and the shape of every ship still afloat.

Set up and fire

Arrange the complete fleet horizontally or vertically, then confirm placement. On each turn, choose one untried enemy coordinate. A miss passes play; a hit reveals part of a ship; all segments must be hit before that ship sinks.

Search efficiently

Spread early shots in a checkerboard pattern because every remaining ship covers multiple adjacent cells. After a hit, test neighboring squares to learn its orientation, then follow that line until the vessel is fully identified.

Private local play

Against a friend, handoff screens hide each fleet while the device changes hands. Solo mode offers Easy, Medium and Hard opponents. Clear turn messages, distinct hit and miss shapes, and fleet counters keep the tactical state readable.
